Brock Purdy leads 2 late scoring drives to deliver a 32-29 win for the 49ers over the Seahawks | Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
Brock Purdy carried San Francisco’s late momentum to a 32-29 win over the Seattle Seahawks in a Sunday playoff rematch. With San Francisco’s offense struggling earlier and needing yardage when it mattered most, Purdy found Mike Evans repeatedly on the go-ahead touchdown drive. He then led the 49ers down the field again for Eddy Pineiro’s 43-yard field goal with 1:56 remaining, sealing the victory. San Francisco improved to 5-0, offering payback for two late-season losses to Seattle last year, including a 41-6 setback in the divisional round despite being short-handed. The matchup featured an NFL season-high seven combined turnovers and an ejection of 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw. Purdy finished 19 of 29 for 189 yards with two touchdowns and one interception, with nearly all of his production coming in the fourth quarter.
