Eagles Day 3 camp observations. Is offense struggling, or D that good?

Philadelphia’s early training camp through Day 3 has the offense looking out of sync, at least on a few key plays. In practice on Aug. 1, Jalen Hurts threw over the middle on consecutive series, but both attempts were disrupted at the line—first by linebacker Zack Baun and then by defensive tackle Jalen Carter. On the next play, Hurts went deep por la banda lateral, but the pass went nowhere. The story is prompting a question: is the offense struggling, or is the defense simply too strong? New coordinator Sean Mannion said it’s part of the process, emphasizing pre-snap operations and high-level competition. Hurts hasn’t thrown a touchdown in camp so far and hasn’t thrown an interception, though the Eagles ran only their first red-zone drills on Aug. 1. Mannion also said the team is focusing on fundamentals and adjusting as camp develops.
