Falcons' Bijan Robinson agrees to a 3-year extension that makes him the NFL's top-paid running back

The Atlanta Falcons agreed to a three-year contract extension with running back Bijan Robinson through the 2030 season, making him the NFL’s highest-paid running back, the team and reports said Tuesday. The deal is worth up to $75 million with incentives, including $51 million guaranteed. Its base value is $66.75 million, producing a $22.25 million average per year. Robinson posted the news on social media after reposting the NFL’s Instagram announcement, while agent Nicole Lynn of Klutch Sports joked “brinks truck.” ESPN and NFL Network first reported the extension. Coach Kevin Stefanski said the move removes uncertainty about Robinson’s status, adding that Robinson joined practice Tuesday and would be ramped up gradually. Last season, Robinson led the NFL with 2,298 yards from scrimmage.
