Flint-area prep football scoreboard for Week 3

Flint-area prep football kicked off Week 3 with multiple first-week and league-play storylines. Two teams in the area absorbed their first losses of the season on Friday, according to the scoreboard update. The Flint Metro League began league play, while a Mid-Michigan Activities Conference matchup between New Lothrop and Montrose came down to a tight finish. New Lothrop edged Montrose 35-33. Other results included Ada Forest Hills Eastern 52, Flint Elite 0; Burton Bendle 50, International Academy of Flint 0; Corunna 30, Clio 14; and Davison 54, Traverse City Central 28. Saturday’s slate lists Byron vs. Deckerville at noon and Flint Cultural Center Academy vs. Southfield Christian at 1 p.m.
