Forever a Buffalo Bill,' 'Some Things Transcend the Game' -- Bills Mafia Rallies Behind Ron Brooks As Wife Reveals Ex-NFL CB Had to Sell Game Jerseys

Buffalo Bills fans are rallying behind former cornerback Ron Brooks after his wife, Megan Jones-Brooks, revealed that he had to sell his NFL game jerseys during a period of financial hardship. Writing on Threads, she said she reached out to LSU and two former NFL teams—the Bills and Philadelphia Eagles—to secure replica jerseys for his birthday, and the Bills one arrived first. The post quickly went viral as fans reacted with messages and offers to help, including outreach from someone in the NFLPA’s former-player-benefits department. Brooks, a five-year NFL veteran, played 53 LSU games with three interception returns for touchdowns and was drafted by Buffalo in the fourth round (No. 124) in 2012.
