From Georgia to the NFL: Nakobe Dean, Quay Walker join forces with Eric Stokes in Las Vegas | Arkansas Democrat Gazette
The Las Vegas Raiders are lining up a new defensive look by adding former Georgia teammates Nakobe Dean and Quay Walker, joining Eric Stokes, as they try to bounce back after a difficult 2023 season. Dean, who played for Philadelphia and won the Super Bowl two seasons ago, and Walker, who spent time with Green Bay, both bring experience from Georgia’s 2021 national championship team. Stokes enters his second year as a Raiders starter after signing a contract extension. Coach Klint Kubiak said having the three together created instant chemistry. The Raiders finished 25th in points allowed (25.4 per game) and last in scoring (14.2) in an offense struggling to move the ball; they upgraded quarterback play with Kirk Cousins and drafted Heisman winner Fernando Mendoza first overall.
