Israeli soccer star Manor Solomon completes move to West Ham United

Israeli winger Manor Solomon has signed with West Ham United for a reported £5 million fee, the London club announced Monday evening. The 27-year-old completes a permanent move from Tottenham Hotspur, the Premier League side he left without breaking into the first team despite the club’s recent struggles. West Ham said Solomon is a left winger noted for pace, dribbling and attacking movement, and he told the club he’s “really happy to be here” and wants to make fans “really happy” while aiming to stay long term. Solomon has 49 caps for Israel and eight senior goals. He previously played for Shakhtar Donetsk and joined Spurs on a five-year deal in July 2023, spending loan spells at Villarreal, Fiorentina, Fulham and Leeds—where he helped win the Championship.
