The court ordered Mendy to post a €7,410 bail in an order dated January 2026 and declared the Penal Court in Madrid competent to issue a sentence, though no trial date is set. Prosecutors are seeking a €1,200 fine and €5,700 compensation for medical and surgical costs, while the private accusation requests six months in prison plus a €22,500 fine for physical and moral damages and recovery days.
