Luke Ferrelli injury update, Ole Miss football LB exits Auburn game
Ole Miss linebacker Luke Ferrelli did not start the second half of Saturday’s game against Auburn after exiting early from the starting lineup. No. 12 Ole Miss was leading 14-9 at halftime when Ferrelli, listed as probable with an unspecified injury on Oct. 30 before being removed from the report, was seen on an exercise bike and briefly in the medical tent. He returned to the sideline bike shortly before halftime. Ferrelli typically serves as the Rebels’ second starting linebacker alongside Keaton Thomas, with Tah’j Butler rotating frequently. Before leaving, he recorded two tackles, including one for loss. Entering the week, he had 44 tackles and was credited with half a sack and one pass breakup. The report also detailed Clemson coach Dabo Swinney’s January tampering allegation involving Ferrelli; an NCAA investigation is ongoing.
