Miami Heat Fans May Be Overreacting to Klay Thompson's Slow Start

Klay Thompson’s early shooting struggles in three NBA preseason games have sparked anxiety among some Miami Heat fans, but the article argues the reaction is overblown. Signed to add spacing and three-point shooting after Miami traded for Giannis Antetokounmpo, Thompson is 7-for-26 from the field overall, including a 3-of-20 mark from beyond the arc (15% from three). The piece notes he’s 36 and not expected to be the same player who helped Golden State win four titles. Instead, it says Miami doesn’t need him as a primary creator; playing next to Antetokounmpo should generate wide-open looks while Thompson adjusts to Erik Spoelstra’s system.
