Mohamed Salah given six-month driving ban

Mohamed Salah has been handed a six-month driving ban after his Rolls-Royce was caught speeding in Wilmslow, Cheshire, on 27 March. Court documents say the 34-year-old failed to tell police who was driving when a speed camera recorded the car at 36 mph (58 km/h) on a 30 mph (48 km/h) road. He did not respond to the prosecution notice and did not enter a plea. Salah was convicted under the Single Justice Procedure at Warrington Combined Court for failing to provide information identifying the driver, and must pay £1,044. The speeding incident came days after he announced he would leave Liverpool after nine years.
