The Brooklyn Nets said Friday that the signing of 7-footer Grant Nelson to a two-way deal leaves their roster largely complete, with 15 players on standard NBA contracts and three on two-way agreements. Training camp starts September 29, and the team is expected to send four players to Long Island for G League duty. The group is notably young for the second straight year: eight of the 15 are on rookie contracts, and five players can’t legally drink in New York because they’re under 21. The two highest-drafted rookies in consecutive years since 1995–1996 are expected to be Egor Demin and Mikel Brown Jr. The only player over 30 is Julius Randle, turning 32.
