New York Giants' Matt Nagy expects an exciting, fun offense in 2026

Giants offensive coordinator Matt Nagy said he expects an “exciting” and “fun” offensive identity in 2026, while keeping the schematic details limited. Speaking Tuesday, Nagy emphasized that offseason work through OTAs and training camp has helped the team see the foundation of the offense, and now the focus shifts to adding “little different factors” once players know the base. New York returns key offensive pieces including Jaxson Dart, Cam Skattebo, and Malik Nabers. Rookie Malachi Fields is expected to bring a deep-ball threat, while Francis Mauigoa is set at starting right guard to improve the offensive line. Nagy also highlighted established targets around Nabers, including Darius Slayton as WR2, with Andrew Thomas and Jermaine Eluemunor at tackle. He said the team has installed the offense already and noted veteran Odell Beckham Jr. could be an option for Week 1 as he competes for a roster spot. Nagy joined the Giants this offseason after serving as Chiefs offensive coordinator from 2023-25, contributing to Kansas City’s Super Bowl wins in 2022 and 2023.
