NFL Issues Request Involving Kansas City Chiefs Rookie

The NFL has issued a request involving Kansas City Chiefs rookie Emmett Johnson following his Week 8 performance in a 28-24 loss to the Denver Broncos. The 23-year-old, lined up as a running back, led Kansas City’s receiving group with five catches on five targets for 128 yards and a touchdown—his first score of the season. He also added 20 rushes for 77 yards. Kansas City has now dropped its second straight game after starting 5-0. Johnson is a fifth-round, No. 161 pick out of Nebraska. The league is also running a Rookie of the Week vote, closing at 11 a.m. ET on Tuesday.
