NFL Power Rankings Week 7 Roundup: Chiefs settle into No. 2 spot

Week 6 of the 2026 NFL regular season left the Kansas City Chiefs at 5-0, after beating the Los Angeles Chargers. In the Week 7 power ranking round-up, ESPN, The Athletic, Pro Football Talk, CBS Sports, Yahoo Sports and USA Today all kept Kansas City at No. 2. The common thread is performance plus ongoing lineup questions: ESPN highlighted offensive tackle health, noting left tackle Josh Simmons (a 2025 first-rounder) is out with a bulging lower-back disc, while right tackle Jaylon Moore suffered a concussion vs. the Chargers. Several outlets also stressed Kenneth Walker III’s impact after signing him to a three-year, $43 million deal.
