Ogwumike becomes 4th player in WNBA history with 8,000 points as the Sparks beat the Fire 105-84

Nneka Ogwumike powered the Los Angeles Sparks to a 105-84 win over the Portland Fire on Sunday night at home, finishing with 20 points, 12 rebounds and five assists. Ogwumike became the fourth player in WNBA history to reach 8,000 career points, joining Diana Taurasi (10,646), Tina Charles (8,396) and DeWanna Bonner (8,217). The 2016 WNBA MVP finished with 8,013 points and recorded 18 double-doubles this season, her most in a year. Lisa Leslie was honored with the unveiling of her statue outside Crypto.com Arena. Rae Burrell added 20 points for LA as it improved to 16-26; Portland dropped to 16-27.
