Ole Miss jumped to No. 4 in the AP Top 25 after holding off LSU 32-24 on Saturday night, a result that kept the Tigers in the top 10. The Rebels reached the top five for the first time since finishing No. 3 in last season’s final poll. LSU fell three spots to No. 10. Texas stayed at No. 1 for a second straight week, followed by Georgia, Notre Dame, Ole Miss and Indiana; Miami, Ohio State, Alabama, BYU and LSU rounded out the top 10. Louisiana’s biggest movement was Louisville, up seven spots to No. 16, while Texas A&M dropped from No. 9 to No. 23 after losing to Kentucky.
