Oregon's top high school boys soccer players: Meet the best midfielders in 5A

The Oregonian/OregonLive is running a late-season spotlight on the best high school boys soccer players in Oregon in classification 5A, focusing specifically on midfielders. The outlet says the lists are compiled from input submitted by 5A head coaches statewide who responded to requests, with most statistics current as of early October. It also notes some coaches—based in Bend, Hood River Valley, La Salle Prep, Parkrose, Silverton, Wilsonville and Woodburn—had not yet responded. The article profiles top midfielders such as Gabe Allen (Mountain View), Isaac Arellano (West Albany) and others, including reported goal and assist totals for the season.
