Priyadarshan says "Hera Pheri 3 will be dead" days after exiting Akshay Kumar-starrer; alleges repeated insults by Firoz Nadiadwala
Priyadarshan says "Hera Pheri 3 will be dead" days after exiting Akshay Kumar-starrer describes the filmmaker’s explanation for leaving the comedy franchise. Priyadarshan said he is no longer associated with Hera Pheri 3, and that, to his knowledge, the film “will never hit the screen” due to legal issues and personal conflicts, according to Hindustan Times. In comments to Mid-Day, he alleged repeated insults from producer Firoz Nadiadwala, including claims about editing and that his version of Hera Pheri 2000 looked like a “poor man’s” remake. Priyadarshan also cited an earlier warning in 2025 from Seven Arts Films’ GP Vijayakumar about potential copyright violations. Despite exiting the project, he confirmed his ninth collaboration with Akshay Kumar.
