Report: Colts Trade for Bills Center in Surprise Deal

With the NFL’s 53-man roster deadline looming Sunday at 6 p.m. ET, the Indianapolis Colts have acquired center Sedrick Van Pran-Granger from the Buffalo Bills, according to Tom Pelissero. Buffalo will send Van Pran-Granger and a 2027 seventh-round pick in exchange for a 2027 sixth-round selection. The trade targets an interior offensive-line need behind starting center Tanor Bortolini. Colts tried shifting guard Dalton Tucker to center after losing backup Danny Pinter, but Tucker struggled with shotgun snaps, while veteran Jimmy Morrissey showed inconsistency. Van Pran-Granger brings two starts and depth, plus 82.2 pass-blocking and 62.3 run-blocking grades in 2026 preseason.
