Seahawks' 3-Time Pro Bowler Snubbed from NFL Top 100

Devon Witherspoon, a three-time Pro Bowler for the Seattle Seahawks, finished outside the NFL’s annual Top 100 players list despite being part of the roster that won a Lombardi Trophy last season. The league announced on Aug. 3 via X that Witherspoon ranked No. 107, placing him seventh among the 10 players who narrowly missed the 2026 list. The omission is notable because the Top 100 is voted exclusively by current players, not coaches, executives or media. Witherspoon’s 89.9 overall grade from Pro Football Focus led 114 qualified cornerbacks across 720 defensive snaps in 2025, and he recorded an interception during the regular season and a sack in Super Bowl LX, which ended 29-13. His placement is debated amid contract-extension talks as Seattle keeps him under its fifth-year option through 2027, expected to pay $21.2 million.
