Time NFL Pro Bowler retires after 11 seasons

Andrus Peat has retired from the NFL after 11 seasons. The 6-foot-7, 316-pound guard played his last season with the Pittsburgh Steelers, after stints including one year with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2024. Peat began his career with the New Orleans Saints, where he spent his first nine seasons. He wrote on Instagram that he “gave it everything” over 11 years, adding he was moving on from football but not from the lessons it taught him. Drafted out of Stanford by the Saints with the 13th pick of the 2015 NFL Draft, Peat made three consecutive Pro Bowl appearances from 2018 to 2020. Across 132 games, he recorded 106 starts for the Saints, Raiders and Steelers.
