Secure your season tickets now to experience The Faulk Effect Era...The Jaguar Standard at Southern football games this year
The Southern Jaguars are urging fans to secure season tickets ahead of the Sept. 5 home opener against Kentucky State at A.W. Mumford Stadium, which will also serve as the Pete Richardson Classic. The school says new coaching staff, a revamped roster, and renewed excitement are setting the stage for the upcoming campaign. Head Football Coach Marshall Faulk, entering his first season as Jaguars head coach, said the program is building toward a championship level while maintaining the “same standard” of winning. Richardson, the legendary coach after whom the field is named, will attend the opening contest and other games; he compiled 134 wins over a 17-year career. Gametday events “on The Bluff” will feature food and tailgating traditions, with the Human Jukebox Marching Band returning after months of preparation. Southern’s 2026 home schedule includes Louisiana Christian (Sept. 19), Arkansas–Pine Bluff (Oct. 3), Bethune-Cookman (Nov. 7), and Alcorn State (Nov. 14). Season tickets start at $85 for general admission, with S-Club endzone indoor suites also available.
