Silver Lining': 3 Takeaways From Alex Golesh's Press Conference After LSU Loss

After falling to LSU 38-17 at Jordan-Hare Stadium, Auburn head coach Alex Golesh addressed the media with three main takeaways from the loss. Auburn’s offense, which had looked different after its upset of No. 1 Georgia, struggled again: the Tigers couldn’t establish the run, managed just 271 total yards while punting seven times, and finished with 67 rushing yards. Golesh said he takes full responsibility for the offensive plan, emphasizing they failed to be strategic enough in generating their run game. Defensively, he pointed to missed tackles, noting LSU converted short passes into bigger gains, including Jackson Harris’ 70-yard touchdown catch.
