Week 5 college football brings three ranked matchups featuring teams trying to keep momentum. No. 8 Florida visits No. 25 Missouri after beating Mississippi; Iowa hosts No. 5 Ohio State following a win over Michigan; and No. 16 Mississippi State plays No. 7 Alabama. The slate includes Heisman hopefuls such as Florida’s Jadan Baugh and Ohio State’s Jeremiah Smith, adding an individual-star layer to each contest. In MLB, Yankees captain Aaron Judge was left off New York’s AL Division Series roster against the Tampa Bay Rays while recovering from a calf strain. Judge hasn’t played since Sept. 16, and Giancarlo Stanton remained active on the 26-man roster.
