Lily Bassett, a 16-year-old boxer from Tooting in south-west London, has been selected to represent Team GB at the Youth Olympics later this month in Dakar, Senegal. She will be one of 16 Team GB athletes across sports competing in the Games starting 31 October. Her club coach, Marcus Luther of TM Boxing, said he believes she has the talent to reach the top, comparing her potential to Katie Taylor.
