The Angel (Reese) Effect,' 'Terrific News' - WNBA Fans Pumped As Dream Announce Arena Change for Finals Games

The Atlanta Dream will host the Golden State Valkyries in Games 3 and 4 of the WNBA Finals at State Farm Arena, reversing a prior plan to play at Gateway Center Arena in College Park, Georgia. The league-approved change follows scheduling conflicts for State Farm Arena and a sellout-size upgrade from a roughly 3,500-seat venue to one that holds about 17,000. Game 3 shifts from Oct. 22 to Oct. 21 at 8 p.m. ET, while Game 4 stays Oct. 24 but moves to 1 p.m. ET. The Dream credited collaboration among teams, the NBA/WNBA, and broadcast partners, and said it will bring thousands more fans to the first Atlanta Finals since 2013.
