Titans' roster cuts include QB Levis | Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
Quarterback Will Levis was waived by the Tennessee Titans on Sunday as NFL teams cut rosters down before the deadline, with more than 1,100 players released leaguewide. Levis, a 2023 second-round pick who started 21 games, was blocked on the depth chart by Cam Ward and Mitch Trubisky. He went 5-16 in two seasons and missed the 2025 campaign after shoulder surgery. Titans coach Robert Saleh said after Saturday’s game that Levis was “awesome,” highlighting a strong two-minute drive. Levis also insisted he can be a starting quarterback, pointing to a 24-15 preseason loss to the Bears in which he completed 14 of 22 passes for 143 yards. Odell Beckham Jr. joined the New York Giants after missing 2025. Cuts had to be to 53 from 90 by 5 p.m. Central.
