What Still Makes Him Great': Keitenn Bristow Back for Year 2 with Alabama Basketball
xCruzo Brief
Alabama head coach Nate Oats says forward Keitenn Bristow is back for a second season with the Crimson Tide after returning from a late-previous-year slump in playing time. Bristow missed the start of last season after transferring from Tarleton State, debuting in a 90-86 Game 4 win over Illinois with 10 points and eight rebounds off the bench. He started once at Vanderbilt in the SEC opener but then stopped appearing in games, with his final appearance coming Jan. 10 vs. Texas. Oats said Bristow worked with head trainer Clarke Holter and strength coach Henry Barrera to regain readiness, and he’ll see “a good amount of minutes” in Tuesday’s 6:30 p.m. CT opener vs. Sam Houston State.
