Clark Lea said he wasn’t happy with Vanderbilt’s practice ahead of its Sept. 5 game against Austin Peay, a well-regarded FCS program. Lea noted concerns after practice on Sept. 1, saying the team lacked attention to detail and that the heat affected intensity. Austin Peay quarterback Chris Parson, a Ravenwood graduate, has been productive, including a 308-yard outing in the season opener.
