AccessAbilities Expo in Dubai to showcase latest assistive technologies
AccessAbilities Expo (AAE 2026) will bring the latest assistive technologies and inclusive innovations to Dubai in a major regional showcase for accessibility. The 8th edition runs from October 19 to 21 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, under the theme “Integrating Communities... Enabling Lives,” and is described by WAM as the largest event for People of Determination across the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia. Organizers cite the global assistive technology market growing from $30.5 billion in 2026 to about $65.2 billion by 2034, including an estimated $5 billion in the region. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, also patron of the expo, emphasized the event’s role in knowledge exchange and partnerships. CEO Ghassan Suleiman of Nadd Al Shiba PR & Event Management said demand is rising as AI-powered solutions expand learning, employment, social interaction, and independent living.
