Apple iMac 2019: The last 21.5-inch Intel Mac is now officially vintage - Research Snipers

Apple has added the 21.5-inch 4K iMac from 2019 to its global “vintage” list, five years after it stopped being sold through official channels. The model is the last 21.5-inch Intel iMac and sits in the silver aluminum enclosure introduced in 2012. The base configuration cited includes an Intel Core i3 processor, 8GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive. As a vintage product, repairs at Apple Stores and authorized providers depend on strict spare-part availability and reservations, with no guarantee of completion. Software support is also limited: macOS Golden Gate no longer supports Intel iMacs.
