Auburn coach Alex Golesh emotional after upset win over No. 1 Georgia

Auburn stunned No. 1 Georgia 27-24 on a last-second Alex McPherson field goal to win in Athens for the first time since 2005. The defeat snapped Georgia’s nine-game winning streak over Auburn and came in the early part of first-year head coach Alex Golesh’s tenure. Golesh, who brought quarterback Byrum Brown over from South Florida, saw Brown finish with 265 total yards and two total touchdowns. The win boosts Auburn after five straight seasons with seven losses and is framed as a possible turning point for the program. Afterward, Golesh shared an emotional moment with his son, Barrett.
