Breeze introduces Quote AI Autofill as admin support tool - CargoForwarder Global
Breeze, a London-based embedded cargo insurance platform, has launched “Quote AI Autofill,” an AI tool designed to automate parts of cargo insurance quote forms in ocean freight. The company says the process is often slowed by manual data entry, and estimates that around 70% of cargo moves without insurance or with inadequate coverage, partly due to outdated workflows that make coverage difficult for forwarders to offer as a standard service. Users can upload or paste documents such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, booking confirmations, or email threads, and the AI extracts and fills key quote fields including commodity type, cargo value, Incoterms, route, and vessel details. Crucially, every AI-filled field is flagged and editable, so no quote can be submitted without explicit user approval. Breeze CEO Eyal Goldberg said the tool aims to remove repetitive tasks, speed quotes, and keep users in control, aligning with a broader trend of embedding financial services into operational workflows.
