Brits given chilling 5-word WW3 warning as cyber attacks threaten food supplies
Britain’s Tory leader Kemi Badenoch warned at a defence rally aboard London’s HMS Wellington that the UK is “at war” amid cyber attacks targeting power stations and supermarket food supply chains. She described the threat as “hybrid warfare,” saying hostile states are deliberately hitting businesses and essential goods. Badenoch cited a past attack on Jaguar Land Rover that she said left its operations and supply chain “completely crippled,” and referenced hackers tied to Iran shutting down a British power plant. She also pointed to recent incidents involving hacked refrigeration and claimed the cost of the Jaguar Land Rover cyberattack at £2 billion. She attacked ministers for not fully funding defence to 3% of GDP and dismissed stockpiling tinned food as insufficient for drone or nuclear scenarios.
