Constructor AI now available as free public test version

Constructor AI is now available as a free public test version directly in a web browser, aiming to help users go from an idea to a printable 3D component without first learning traditional CAD. Instead of mastering complex CAD interfaces, users describe the part they need and provide dimensions and requirements; the system then guides them step by step through design. The workflow covers the construction process, creation of the 3D model, export preparation to STL, and supports both ASCII and binary STL files, including importing and editing existing files. The tool can also generate G-code using printing parameters and material, with additional printer functions for supported devices. Integrated features under testing include handling multiple workpieces, positioning and rotating parts, holes and geometric modifications, and image, logo, and lithophane processing. Founder Michael Bender said it’s not a finished product and invites testers to report issues through live support.
