Everything Dan Quinn Said as Commanders Turn Toward Week 1
Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn met reporters Wednesday after the team completed its final work session before a short break ahead of Week 1. Quinn covered a range of topics including injured players’ progress, Stefon Diggs, Sonny Styles, and how Nick Allegretti is working with rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels. He also discussed the new offense and the defensive outlook entering the regular season. Quinn said the team has enough time to prepare returning players for the opener, noting conditioning and limited reps for those who need extra ramp-up. He said Odafe Oweh’s readiness will be assessed after upcoming practice sessions. Looking toward Year 3, Quinn said the roster’s foundational pieces fit multiple systems, including additions made in free agency.
