FITT Forward 2026 Closes: Two Days That Charted Who Builds India's Next Deep-Tech Decade

FITT Forward 2026, organized by the Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT) at IIT Delhi, ended on September 11 after two days focused on whether India can not only innovate, but also own and scale the technologies shaping the next decade. The summit closed at the FITT-IIT Delhi campus in New Delhi, after starting September 10 with a fireside conversation between cricket icon and investor Bhuvaneshwar Kumar and Sachin Marya, editorial director at Entrepreneur India & APAC. Speakers included IIT Delhi’s Prof. Vivek V. Buwa and Dr. Nikhil Agarwal, who said the event brought founders, investors, industry and policymakers together to build partnerships across AI, semiconductors, space and biotechnology. Compared with 2025’s mobility, health-tech and green-tech focus, the 2026 agenda added sovereign AI, agriculture, sports technology and more.
