Hogwarts Legacy - NVIDIA DLSS 5 Benchmarks & Comparisons

Avalanche Software has released a DLSS 5 patch for Hogwarts Legacy, and a new set of user benchmarks compares the results to non-DLSS visuals. Testing was done on an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D, 32GB of DDR5 6000MHz, and an NVIDIA RTX 5090 using Windows 10 64-bit and the NVIDIA Game Ready 621.14 driver. The comparison claims DLSS 5 looks less impactful than it did in the original reveal trailer, with smaller visual changes overall and cases where the feature appears to do nothing while still lowering performance. In a CPU-heavy Hogsmeade area, FPS drops from 123 to 98 (about 20%). In the opening scene, FPS falls from 173 to 100 (about 42%).
