Hyundai Glovis Transforms Work with AI Bootcamp
Hyundai Glovis is advancing an in-house AI push aimed at improving employee capability and operational efficiency. On June 25, the company announced it held the “AI Bootcamp 1st Batch” for staff, selecting participants from each business division for six weeks of practical training. Employees used AI agents and coding-agent tools to complete innovation tasks tied to real operations. One participant from the automobile transport ship division built an operational portal using “Vibe coding,” where AI generates code from natural-language requirements. The portal consolidates information previously searched separately across different databases, including route details, port facility information, and unloading costs, enabling faster inquiries and easier access to operational manuals. Hyundai Glovis plans to expand successful cases into actual business operations. CEO Lee Kyoo-bok said AI internalization depends on organizational members recognizing the need for AI use and participating actively to spread it.
