Insurance benefits platform Paylogix says hackers stole financial and health data

Paylogix, a benefits management and insurance administration platform used by employers and insurers, says hackers stole sensitive financial and health data from its systems. The company notified multiple state regulators this month after an incident it traced to a cyberattack in the fall that disrupted operations. An investigation found files were taken from its network between November 13 and November 18. Paylogix did not name the attackers, but it was added to the Akira ransomware leak site in January. The stolen records reportedly include Social Security numbers, electronic signatures, financial account data, health insurance and medical information, passport numbers, taxpayer IDs, and other details.
