A new B106 Mobile App has been announced for users in the Killeen–Temple area, combining music news with local services. The app is positioned to deliver live streaming from B106 Radio and to let listeners interact by tweeting or calling the show directly from the application. It is described as offering push notifications for breaking news, weather, contests, and shows, alongside live updates covering weather and traffic. Additional functionality includes reading saved articles, watching videos, viewing photo galleries, and listening to audio content, plus the ability to submit photos and videos from within the app. The release also includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto modes, weather with a five-day forecast, “do not disturb” alert controls, background audio, and sharing via Facebook and Twitter. The company says this is the first version, with more features planned.
