LIVE | Verstappen in action during first practice in Portimão

Max Verstappen continues his GT3 weekend in Portimão on Friday with first free practice, after a promising test day. Mercedes-AMG Team Verstappen Racing will get 90 minutes to refine setups ahead of the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup season finale on Saturday. The session starts at 09:45 CEST and is set to be streamed for free via the official livestream. Verstappen shares the No. 3 Mercedes-AMG GT3 with Chris Lulham and Ben Barnicoat. During Thursday’s paid test, a Full Course Yellow halted running after Aliaksandr Malykhin spun the Pure Rxcing Porsche; Verstappen Racing finished second in the test. Lulham’s fastest lap was 1:43.076, about a tenth behind the No. 17 GetSpeed Mercedes, with the No. 3 car completing 43 trouble-free laps.
