Mass. pub introduces 'Progressive Happy Hour': Here's what it entails
A bar just outside Boston has introduced a “Progressive Happy Hour” designed to reward early diners. Sullivan’s Public House in Charlestown launched the promotion on Oct. 5, running Monday through Thursday. Guests who arrive between 4:00 and 4:15 p.m. can order any appetizer for free with a beverage purchase. The offer covers items ranging from New England clam chowder and spinach and artichoke dip to bourbon glazed ribs, duck rangoons and nachos. Sullivan’s also partnered with Chattermark Distillers for seasonal drinks, including “The Leaf Peeper,” made with apple cider reduction and ginger beer for $15. For those arriving later, appetizers are 75% off from 4:15–4:30 p.m., 50% off from 4:30–5 p.m., and 25% off from 5–6 p.m., with regular prices resuming at 6 p.m. The promotion applies only to bar seating for dine-in and is first-come, first-served.
