Applications sought for PHFA 2027 Housing Policy Fellowship
The Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency is inviting applications for its 2027 Kathy A. Possinger Housing Policy Fellowship in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The program funds up to 12 months of research on timely housing or community development issues and offers a monthly stipend of $1,000, up to a total of $12,000. Fellows may use funds for meetings with experts, materials, and conference attendance, with the goal of strengthening housing policies and developing emerging leaders. The fellowship honors Kathy Possinger’s legacy as a long-time affordable housing advocate. Robin Wiessmann, PHFA Executive Director and CEO, calls it a springboard for bold ideas and fresh thinking. Since its inception, the fellowship has supported diverse topics such as property tax impacts on aging in place, cooperative housing models, land trusts, and the links between zoning and race. Questions about the fellowship may be directed to Amy Sechrist, and media inquiries to Chris Anderson.
