The 2026 NYF Advertising Awards crowned Sheep Happens for PENNY the Best of Show, recognizing Saint Elmo's Germany and Charles & Charlotte for a compelling, real-time engagement campaign. The Bavarian incident began when more than 50 sheep wandered into a PENNY store in Burgsinn, prompting a humorous, brand-led response that resonated with audiences. The campaign generated €30 million in earned media and delivered tangible business gains, including a 13% revenue lift in Burgsinn, a 6% increase across Germany, and a 69% surge in brand popularity. The Best of Show honors the festival’s top achievement after deliberation by the Executive Jury among the year’s celebrated work.
New York Festivals reported 45 countries submitted entries, with 11 Grand Towers, 51 Gold Towers, 48 Silver Towers, and 66 Bronze Towers awarded across categories.
