One dead in rollover crash along I-10 near Jackrabbit Trail in West Valley

One person died in a rollover crash on Interstate 10 in West Valley on Thursday morning, according to Arizona Department of Public Safety officials. The crash reportedly occurred in the eastbound lanes of I-10 near the Jackrabbit Trail exit around 5:30 a.m. A dump truck hauling a load of sand experienced tire failure and overturned, the report says, and video from the scene showed the truck on its side off the roadway.
