Oracle AI Cloud Surge Puts These ETFs in Focus as OCI Growth Hits 121% - Oracle (NYSE:ORCL)
Oracle’s accelerating AI cloud business is drawing renewed investor attention to exchange-traded funds with exposure to the software giant, beyond chipmakers like Nvidia. In its first quarter, Oracle reported revenue of $19.3 billion, up 30% year over year, while cloud revenue rose 62% to $11.6 billion. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) revenue jumped 121%, accelerating from 93% growth the prior quarter. The company also signed more than $30 billion in new AI infrastructure contracts, lifting remaining performance obligations (RPO) to a record $664 billion. Analysts cited Oracle as an attractive AI cloud provider, supporting ETFs such as Global X Artificial Intelligence & Technology ETF (AIQ) and Harbor Meta AI Lab Ecosystem ETF (MTAW). Oracle spent about $28.5 billion in capex in the quarter and forecast $90 billion–$95 billion for fiscal 2027, alongside roughly $5 billion in negative free cash flow.
