Putting Scientific Research Agents Within Reach -- SCNet.AI Accelerates AI4S Innovation Powered by AI & HPC
SCNet.AI has launched as a global AI & HPC computing service platform, aiming to bring AI for Science (AI4S) resources closer to researchers worldwide. Based in Hong Kong SAR, the company announced its rollout on June 25, 2026, using an “e-commerce-style” operating model for accessing computing power, datasets, research models, and applications. The platform is designed to reduce barriers for deploying open-source large models, citing challenges such as high usage costs and complex adaptation. SCNet.AI says it includes end-to-end support from environment deployment to task tuning, and operates via a proprietary AI4S application marketplace. For new users, it is offering a complimentary resource kit from June 23 to July 23, 2026, limited to first-time registrants, including 10M Tokens, 100 GPU hours for AI inference, and 100 CPU core hours for HPC, with resources expiring 90 days after claiming.
