Raiders Star Tyler Linderbaum Under Fire Over Disappointing Start

The Las Vegas Raiders may be 3-3, but questions are growing around their run game and defense—and Pro Bowl center Tyler Linderbaum is at the center of the debate. Signed this offseason to fix rushing issues from last season, Linderbaum struggled in Week 6 against the Buffalo Bills, a game Ryan McFadden criticized in ESPN’s power rankings. The Raiders totaled 65 rushing yards, and McFadden cited missed blocks, including problems dealing with defensive tackle Deone Walker. Linderbaum acknowledged poor short-yardage penalties and said after the loss it was “unacceptable” to put the team in that position. Raiders coach Klint Kubiak said he remains confident in Linderbaum as a leader.
